It’s always one of the happiest days of the year here at Paulank, and we’re thrilled to let you know that our first foal of the 2020 season arrived bright and early on the morning of 25 April 2020.
A beautiful, healthy chestnut colt with a distinctive white blaze, XXXXXXX is by Road to Happiness ex Paulank Calla Lilly.
Some of you may know that Calla Lilly is a half-sister of the one and only Paulank Brockagh, so this little guy can thank his mama for some very special genes!
Mother and son are both doing great, and little XXXXXXX is bodying up nicely already.
Like the rest of us, they and all our horses, young and old, are enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine here on the farm, grazing happily and making the most of the great outdoors.
We have a further four mares in foal so plenty more new arrivals to look forward to. We’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s anything to report.
